Admissions and Enrollment

Frederick Taylor University maintains continuous enrollment throughout the year. There is no application fee for the admission process. The Admissions Committee meets regularly to evaluate applications. Upon a favorable evaluation, a preliminary letter of acceptance will be issued to the student. Most students will begin their programs within two weeks after receipt of their acceptance letter.

To apply for admission to the program, an applicant must first complete the University’s Application for Admission form. It is not necessary to submit official transcripts at the time of application. However, official transcripts will be required within 90 days of enrollment. The University provides students with a form which may be used for this purpose.

If the applicant is accepted for admission to the Program, an enrollment packet will be prepared and emailed to the applicant for review and signature.

Bachelor's degree applicants must provide verification of High School graduation or GED. MBA degree applicants must provide verification of earned bachelor's degree.

Transfer of Credit

The University may accept any course work successfully completed at the other accredited or state-approved colleges and universities, if it comparably meets FTU  course work standards and requirements.

Foreign Students

FTU welcomes international students. Foreign students are expected to be proficient in the English language prior to enrollment. An English Proficiency Test may be required of foreign students.

Foreign Degree Evaluation

Effective 4/29/2014, to comply with the new requirements, applicants wishing to transfer in credits or degrees earned at colleges and universities located outside the United States should have their academic transcripts evaluated by a qualified Credential Evaluation Agency in the United States.  The evaluator must have expertise in the educational practices of the country of origin and include an English translation of the review.

  • General Degree Evaluation: To show evidence of an earned degree, a General Degree Evaluation, sometimes called Document-by-Document Evaluation will be acceptable.

  • Course-by-Course Evaluation: Applicants wishing to transfer in credits toward specific courses must request a Course-by-Courses Evaluation report.

FTU recommends a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES®) member or other reputable foreign credential evaluation agencies. Official evaluation does not guarantee that FTU will accept all or any of your coursework.
