Financial Accountants are responsible for computing, classifying, recording and maintaining financial records. They also reconcile billing vouchers, bank statements as well as posting financial transactions utilizing various software applications. Financial Accountants also prepare and analyze financial statements and ratio analysis. Financial Accountants generally work 40 hours per week. However, they may have occasional overtime. The employment opportunity for Financial Accountants is high. Accountants have the opportunity to work as in various opportunities such as Accounts Receivable Clerks, Accounts Payable Clerks, Payroll Clerks and full charge Accountants and Bookkeepers in private and governmental organizations.
